History

In 1987 Michael Stapleton, a former member of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) Emergency Services Unit, founded MSA to provide specialized training and support in explosive detection, the company consisted of three employees and one bomb dog. Over the last 20 years we have been joined by retired members of the NYPD Bomb Squad, NYPD Emergency Services Unit and elite units from the Armed Forces, the FBI, the Secret Service, the US Marshalls Service and police departments from around the United States. Today we have over 300 employees and over 100 bomb dogs, providing unparalleled perimeter security and explosive detection services domestically and internationally.
