Bomb Dog Teams
MSA is the largest provider of bomb dog teams in the United States. We presently have over 100 bomb dog teams nationwide performing vehicle screening, building perimeter security and explosive detection sweeps. Our handlers are specialists in the field of explosive detection security, with years of experience in specialized law enforcement (Bomb Squad/Emergency Service), graduated from the FBI Hazardous Devices School, or have military experience.
- The only bomb dog provider in the country Certified and Designated by the Department of Homeland Security to provide anti-terrorism technology
- Single Handler/Single Purpose teams, trained only in explosive detection
- Full time Coordinator and three full time trainers
- Licensed by ATF to purchase, possess and store high explosives. These explosives are used to train our bomb dogs to ensure optimum performance
- Annual certification to the standards of the North American Police Work Dog Association and ATF NORT standards
- All teams carry Pager S radiation detectors allowing them to detect the presence of radiological explosive devices as well as conventional devices
- Full time dedicated teams, part-time, response and special event teams are available 24/7
