Emergency Response Training

Our New York State Certified Instructors can prepare your organization's onsite Emergency Response Team (ERT) to address all potential emergency situations. MSA incorporates OSHA, NIOSH and DHS curricula with our situation specific training material to thoroughly train your ERT in the emergency actions to be taken and just as important when not to intervene. In addition to the material provided by our Specialized Training courses ERT's are trained in:

• Use of various types of fire extinguishers
• First aid and CPR
• The requirements of the OSHA blood borne pathogens standard
• Chemical spill control procedures
• Use of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
• Search and emergency rescue procedures
• Hazardous materials emergency response in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120

As with our Specialized Training courses, initial and refresher training or certification is available on-site, in our classroom, online at MSA ELearning, via SmartTech terminals or video.
